Job summary

Vaillant Group is seeking a qualified Supply Chain Planner in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on monthly supply planning, production capacity checks, and cross-functional coordination with sales support and plant schedulers.

You will manage SAP-based order adjustments, ensure product availability, and contribute to S&OP processes to align with market demand and inventory targets. A strong SAP/MM background is essential.

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational training with supporting qualifications is required.
• Professional experience in production planning, production control, brokering or supply network planning is important.
• Experience in the commercial sector is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to communicate at all levels.
• General IT literacy including MS Office applications.
• Good understanding of SAP/MM is essential.

Responsibilities

• Create a monthly supply plan for certain products, considering production capacities and demand plan.
• Ensure product availability for sales companies and avoid backlogs; coordinate weekly with the production scheduler.
• Adjust orders in SAP depending on the weekly plan; develop countermeasures with plant and NSCs.
• Coordinate with sales support to smooth production while maintaining master data in SAP R/3 and SAP IBP.
• Plan and implement the S&OP meeting to inform National Sales Companies about the future supply situation.
• Coordinate capacities for coming months to ensure quantities meet supply chain requirements.

What we achieve together

• Create a monthly supply plan for certain products, considering production capacities, market requirements (demand plan), current order situation, inventory situation and inventory targets.
• Ensure product availability is correct for sales companies and avoid customer backlogs. Weekly coordination of the production mix with the production scheduler, considering capacity situation in the plant and current order situation. Adjust orders in SAP depending on the weekly plan. Develop countermeasures with plant and NSCs in case of availability issues.
• Cooperate closely with the sales support teams to be up to date on current and expected developments and to smooth out production whilst maintaining the supply planning relevant master data in SAP R/3 and in SAP IBP.
• Monthly preparation and implementation of the S&OP meeting, in which the National Sales Companies are informed about the future supply situation.
• Close cooperation with the production scheduler to ensure that the supply plan can be carried out at the factory and that the monthly and weekly agreed quantities are delivered. Coordination of required capacities for the coming months to provide sufficient quantity of products for the supply chain.
• Plan quantities for new phase-ins or product phase-outs in close coordination with the Group Phase-in / Phase-out Management to ensure that finished goods are available on time or in the event of a product phase-out, the required quantities can be delivered until the end of production.
