Job summary

Vaillant Group UK in Belper, United Kingdom, seeks a dedicated Supply Planner for permanent, full-time work to ensure product availability and accurate planning. The role involves coordinating with production schedulers, SAP, and sales support to keep the supply chain efficient and aligned with demand.

You will contribute to monthly S&OP meetings and collaborate closely across teams to maintain master data and delivery of planned quantities, including new phase-ins and phase-outs.

Qualifications

• Relevant vocational training with supporting qualifications is required.
• Professional experience in the field of production planning, production control, brokering or supply network planning is important.
• Experience working in the commercial sector is advantageous.
• You will have excellent communication skills and be able to communicate effectively at all levels.
• General IT Literacy is an important skill to have including a working knowledge of all MS applications.
• A good understanding of SAP/MM is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Create a monthly supply plan for products, considering production capacities, demand plan, orders and inventory targets.
• Coordinate weekly production mix with the scheduler and adjust SAP orders as needed.
• Work with sales support to stay updated on developments and maintain SAP master data and IBP inputs.
• Prepare and run the S&OP meeting monthly to inform National Sales Companies about future supply.
• Collaborate with the production scheduler to ensure the plan can be carried out and quantities are delivered.
• Plan quantities for phase-ins/outs with Group Phase-in/Phase-out Management to ensure availability.

What We Achieve Together

• Create a monthly supply plan for certain products, considering production capacities, market requirements (demand plan), current order situation, inventory situation and inventory targets.
• Ensure product availability is correct for sales companies and avoid customer backlogs. Weekly coordination of the production mix with the production scheduler, considering capacity situation in the plant and current order situation. Adjust orders in SAP depending on the weekly plan. Develop countermeasures with plant and NSCs in case of availability issues.
• Cooperate closely with the sales support teams to be up to date on current and expected developments and to smooth out production whilst maintaining the supply planning relevant master data in SAP R/3 and in SAP IBP.
• Monthly preparation and implementation of the S&OP meeting, in which the National Sales Companies are informed about the future supply situation.
• Close cooperation with the production scheduler to ensure that the supply plan can be carried out at the factory and that the monthly and weekly agreed quantities are delivered. Coordination of required capacities for the coming months to provide sufficient quantity of products for the supply chain.
• Plan quantities for new phase-ins or product phase-outs in close coordination with the Group Phase-in / Phase-out Management to ensure that finished goods are available on time or in the event of a product phase-out, the required quantities can be delivered until the end of production.
