Job Opportunity: Secondary English Teacher

Academics is actively seeking enthusiastic and experienced secondary English Teachers for day-to-day, short, and long-term assignments within our partner secondary schools and academies in Stoke-on-Trent & Newcastle-under-Lyme.

Key Requirements:

1. Proven track record of teaching English to Key Stage 3 & 4.
2. Excellent behaviour management skills.
3. Availability for supply work with Monday to Friday flexibility.
4. UK Qualified Teaching Status (QTS or QTLS).
5. Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and English programmes of study.
6. Strong classroom management and subject knowledge, with the ability to inspire positive learning attitudes.
7. Ability to adapt quickly to new school environments and work well within a team.
8. Current Enhanced DBS registered with the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new one (cost may apply).
