Job summary

MiChild Group is seeking an Early Years Educator for supply cover at Teddies Day Nursery, Royal Oldham Hospital Grounds. The role offers a competitive hourly salary and opportunities for development within a supportive nursery group.

Requirements include Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, strong EYFS understanding, safeguarding knowledge, and excellent communication with children and families. Shifts rotate weekly to ensure coverage.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised).
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Robust safeguarding knowledge and awareness.
• Experience in nursery or with children aged 0-5 years.
• Excellent communication skills to engage with children, parents and team.
• Flexible, adaptable, and passionate about inspiring young minds.

Responsibilities

• Provide supply cover as Early Years Educator across 0-5 age groups.
• Maintain safeguarding standards and support nursery routines.
• Support learning through play and developmentally appropriate activities.
