Job summary

MiChild Group is hiring a Supply-based Early Years Educator for Teddies Day Nursery on the Royal Oldham Hospital Grounds. The role requires Level 2/3 EYFS qualifications, strong safeguarding knowledge, and nursery experience. You will work a rotating early/late shift schedule and support children aged 0-5 in a Good-rated setting.

The position offers a competitive hourly salary (£12.80–£13.25 p/h) with benefits and opportunities for professional development through MiChild Learning hub.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification (UK recognised)
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development
• Demonstrated safeguarding knowledge and awareness
• Previous nursery/0-5 years experience
• Excellent communication, able to build relationships with children, parents and team
• Flexible, adaptable and passionate about inspiring little minds

Responsibilities

• Role is supply based only; rotating weekly shift to cover Early and Late shifts
• Collaborate with nursery team to support learning and development
• Contribute to a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5
