NES Fircroft is currently recruiting a Programme Manager for our client, a global leader in power technology.

Supply Chain Programme Manager

Location: Warwick
Hybrid work: Twice per week in the office

The Supply Chain Programme Manager (SCPM) is responsible for defining and executing a programme of sourcing transfer projects that reactivate the ST30 engine components, supporting both services and new unit requirements.

Responsibilities
  1. Define the work breakdown structure, sourcing packages, and supporting programmes to meet source change requirements.
  2. Manage programme team members, including other project managers, dedicated resources, and supporting staff, to ensure efficient capacity utilization and timely delivery.
  3. Act as the liaison between the A35 Portfolio and key stakeholders, ensuring resource management decisions support programme deliverables.
  4. Oversee project quality, risk management, performance reporting, and budgeting, maintaining high standards of project execution.
  5. Establish a Change Control Board to approve programme changes affecting schedule or budget.
  6. Report to a steering committee comprising cross-functional executives, providing updates and insights.
  7. Report directly to the head of Supply Chain Transformation Programmes.

The programme scope includes up to 200 components requiring sourcing and qualification within 3 years, with a team of up to 15 full-time resources. Key commodities include discs, drums, shafts, casings, blades, vanes, combustion liners, external piping, engine controls, and general machining. Raw materials include castings and forgings. The programme concludes once the supply chain delivers acceptable quality and rate.

Your background
  1. A proven track record of delivering complex programmes across diverse global sites and products.
  2. A passion for change and influencing others to find efficient solutions to business challenges.
  3. Strong communication skills aligned with leadership principles.
Essential qualifications
  1. Recognized Project Management Certification.
  2. Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or related field.
  3. Significant experience in project management, engineering, or supply chain roles.
  4. Understanding of OEM & Service processes, process improvement, and results delivery.
  5. Knowledge of aerospace manufacturing, sourcing, risk management, and programme management.
  6. Familiarity with aerospace design and change control processes.
  7. Ability to engage at all organizational levels and manage change effectively.
  8. Experience working in a matrix organization with both dedicated and non-dedicated resources.
Desirable qualifications
  1. Management or leadership training.
  2. Process Improvement certification.
  3. Multilingual skills or interests.
