Supply Chain Professional, Demand Planning

If so, you could be a great fit as our Supply Chain Professional, based in Milton Keynes or London, working two days a week from the office and two days remotely.

You will be the “gatekeeper” for demand forecasts, responsible for managing the demand forecasting process that drives supply planning to order stock and ensure product availability.

You will conduct detailed data analysis and build cross-functional relationships that allow effective validation and challenge of the demand forecast across various categories such as devices, new markets, and other areas.

These important tasks feed into the supply planning operation, which drives £1bn+ annual purchases.

You'll have the following responsibilities

  • Interrogate and challenge forecast output, review trends, promotions, and seasonality, understand underlying assumptions, and provide recommendations.
  • Manage multiple stakeholders, making decisions that directly impact forecast, supply efficiency, and performance.
  • Engage stakeholders in the forecasting process to provide understanding and constructive challenge.
  • Track and highlight forecasting KPIs to improve accuracy, allowing savings in working capital budget and improving availability.
  • Communicate clearly with all stakeholders to ensure a solid foundation for forecasting and improvements in accuracy.

You'll have the following skills & experience

  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and data presentation.
  • Knowledge of forecasting and supply chain management.
  • Ability to build strong relationships and manage multiple stakeholders with appropriate tenacity.
  • Capability to challenge stakeholders and processes constructively.
  • Proficiency in tracking, effectively communicating, and highlighting key issues/managing progress.
  • Risk management skills and a proactive, decisive approach to solutions.
  • 10% on target bonus
