Supply Chain Planning Consultant/Senior Consultant

Your Role

In this role you will play a key role in:

  • Working collaboratively with our clients and your Capgemini colleagues to design and deliver innovative supply chain planning solutions for some of the world’s largest global companies.
  • Helping our clients to create competitive advantage and unlock value in their supply chains through transforming their demand and supply planning operating models.
  • Driving supply chain and business performance through technology-enabled supply chain planning transformation.
  • Leading and working with teams of Capgemini consultants and clients to deliver breakthrough solutions and exceptional results.

As part of your role you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

  • Business Development – Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
  • Internal Contribution – Campaign development, internal think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
  • Learning & Development – Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.
Your Profile

You will have experience in the following areas:

  • Deep knowledge of supply chain planning processes ideally through experience as a demand or supply planner in the consumer products, retail, life sciences or similar manufacturing industry.
  • Experience in one or more planning processes such as sales and operations planning, demand planning, production planning, capacity planning, materials planning, inventory planning or distribution planning; or in a retail context: merchandise, assortment or fulfilment planning.
  • Have worked as a management consultant or have been involved in business improvement programmes including diverse teams with global or regional impact.
  • Understand and have experience of using Advanced Planning Systems (APS) such as SAP IBP, Kinaxis, Blue Yonder, OMP, o9 or similar.
  • Interested in application of technology to drive efficiencies and effectiveness in processes and work routines.
  • Have led or worked as part of a team that delivered exceptional results.
  • Self-starter with a motivation to learn and make a positive impact on those around you.
  • Currently working in a major Consulting firm, and/or in industry but having a Consulting background. Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation, and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
