Job summary

Owen Daniels is recruiting a Supply Chain Planner for a 14-15 month fixed term contract in Gloucester. The role focuses on developing supply plans, managing POs, and coordinating across production, procurement and logistics to support schedules and business objectives.

The successful candidate will have strong planning and inventory management experience, excellent stakeholder management, and proficiency in Excel.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain material supply plans using forecasts, production schedules and MRP to ensure materials are available when needed.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, monitor supplier deliveries and resolve supply issues to minimise disruption.
• Monitor inventory levels and identify opportunities to reduce excess stock while maintaining service levels.
• Collaborate with production, procurement, logistics and finance to support schedules and business objectives.
• Track supply chain performance and maintain planning records, contributing to process improvements.

Essential Experience/Skills/Qualifications

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
