Job summary

Comxps Ltd in Corsham is seeking an experienced supply chain professional for a defence-focused delivery role on a hybrid basis. You will manage SCM disciplines within a large organisation, deliver in a project context, and work with multiple suppliers while maintaining governance.

The role requires strong Excel skills, stakeholder engagement, and a proactive, independent work style. Security clearance SC is required; contract length is until 27/09/2027 with possible extension; two onsite days

Qualifications

• Experience delivering SCM within large, complex organisations.
• Delivery in Defence Supply Chain preferred; 5+ years in supply chain delivery in project delivery ok.
• Strong understanding of operational supply chain disciplines (inventory, supplier, demand, and performance management).
• Advanced Excel skills with ability to analyse complex supply chain data and produce insights.
• Review processes, identify improvements, and implement practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management across multiple teams and suppliers.
• Ability to work independently while following governance, processes and procedures.
• Proactive and self-motivated with the confidence to make recommendations and challenge constructively.

Job description

Salary: £To be confirmed on application (our client has asked for this not to be advertised).

Location: Corsham, Hybrid – 2 days per week onsite Some flexibility but would be 1-2 days and can not be worked as a remote role. Tuesdays are onsite and preferred other day is a Thursday

Contracting Authority: Government Client

Contract Length: Until 27/09/2027 with possibility of extension

Clearance: SC

1. Demonstrable experience working within a Defence Supply Chain environment - OR if has a lot of supply chain delivery in project delivery (5+ years), would be ok
2. Strong stakeholder management and engagement skills with experience working across multiple teams and suppliers.
3. Strong understanding of operational supply chain disciplines, including inventory, supplier, demand, and performance management.

Essential

• Experience of working in a delivery environment, delivering SCM disciplines within a large, complex organisation
• Experience delivering supply chain within project management
• Experience working in Defence Supply Chain is preferable but if have a lot of supply chain delivery in project delivery (5+ years), would be ok.
• Strong understanding of operational supply chain disciplines, including inventory, supplier, demand, and performance management.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with proven experience analysing complex supply chain data and producing meaningful insights.
• Ability to review processes, identify improvements, and implement practical solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience working across multiple teams and suppliers.
