Job summary

Search Recruitment Group in London is seeking a Supply Chain Manager to join its growing Procurement and Supply Chain team. You will work with a diverse range of clients across Defence, Utilities, Healthcare, Infrastructure and the Public Sector to deliver supply chain improvements and manage procurement challenges.

The role requires experience in supply chain management, strong analytical and communication skills, and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Logistics, Operations, or a related discipline.
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles and best practice.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working with complex supply chains and supplier networks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
• Experience working within Defence, Utilities, Healthcare, Infrastructure, or Public Sector organisations.
• Consultancy or client-facing experience.
• Knowledge of procurement regulations and supplier governance.
• Experience with SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar ERP systems.
• 5+ years' of supply chain experience

Responsibilities

• Deliver supply chain and procurement support across a portfolio of client projects.
• Analyse existing supply chain operations and identify opportunities for improvement, efficiency, and cost optimisation.
• Develop sourcing, supplier management, and supply chain strategies tailored to client requirements.
• Lead supplier engagement activities, performance reviews, and relationship management programmes.
• Support procurement and tendering exercises, including market analysis and supplier evaluations.
• Identify supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Produce reports, business cases, and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Support clients through supply chain transformation and change initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client teams and external suppliers.
