Job summary

B&M Retail Limited is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Network Planner for The Vault Distribution Centre in Speke, Liverpool. You will help keep 750+ stores stocked by planning outbound shipments, coordinating inter-warehouse activities, and optimizing transport flows across the UK.

You will work with data insights to drive decisions that move stock efficiently, ensuring cost, capacity and OTIF targets are met in a fast-paced retail network.

Qualifications

• Transport and fleet planning experience required.
• Proficient in Excel and Outlook.
• Excellent knowledge of UK geography.
• Experience with Paragon is preferred.
• Strong communication with colleagues at all levels.
• Ability to work with large data sets.

• Outbound distribution planning for the full B&M Store estate in the UK and Northern Ireland.
• Inter warehouse / Trunking planning across our DC's.
• Reverse Logistics and Supplier Collection planning.

Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday (08:00 - 16:30)

We’re looking for a detail orientated, self-motivated Supply Chain Network Planner to join our Distribution Centre in The Vault, Speke, Liverpool.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team in a key operational area, which plays a vital role in keeping over 750 stores stocked and ready to serve our 4 million customers every week.

What you’ll be doing

Working as part of the Supply Chain Global Operations - Network Planning Team. We have an opportunity to join the team focussed on making sure the network keeps flowing, by using data insights to make recommendations and decisions that efficiently and accurately move every case of stock into, through and out of our DCs, onto our delivery trucks and into our brilliant stores across the whole of the UK.

That’s hundreds of thousands of cases, thousands of pallets, hundreds of lorries….. every day!

Ensuring we are working within cost, capacity and OTIF targets, the planning team are at the heart of the network operation.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Outbound distribution planning for the full B&M Store estate in the UK and Northern Ireland
• Inter warehouse / Trunking planning across our DC's
• Reverse Logistics and Supplier Collection planning
• HGV Fleet and Driver planning
• Ensuring compliance across our Transport operation

What we’re looking for

We are looking for someone who can multi-task and complete work in a timely, accurate manner.You should also be aware of the Health and Safety requirements of working around HGV’s and in a warehouse Environment.

You’ll need to have:

• Transport/Fleet Planning experience is highly desired
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft applications (Excel and Outlook)
• Excellent geographical knowledge of the UK
• Paragon experience is desired but not essential and we can provide training.
• Strong communicator with colleagues of all Seniority levels.
• Ability to work and manipulate large data sets
