Sureserve Energy Services Meters Ltd, a subsidiary of Sureserve, is seeking a Supply Chain Mobilisation Lead to orchestrate end-to-end mobilisation across stock, warehouse capacity, systems, and 3PL partners. The role focuses on readiness for new zones and scalable operations, working directly with the Head of Supply Chain.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Supply Chain mobilisation, operational transformation, growth programmes or new contract implementation.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, inventory management, logistics, 3PL operations and field-based supply chains.
• Ability to lead complex projects, manage multiple stakeholders and deliver outcomes across matrix teams.
• Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting operational data and developing scalable solutions.
• Commercially minded, with the ability to balance service, cost, risk and operational performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, with experience using ERP, WMS, BI or reporting systems.
• Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process efficiencies and operational change.
• Experience within utilities, smart metering, engineering services or a similar field-based environment would be advantageous.
• Professional Supply Chain, Logistics, Project Management or Continuous Improvement qualifications (e.g. CILT, CIPS, APICS, PRINCE2, Lean or Six Sigma) are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end Supply Chain mobilisation plan to support business growth and new operational zones.
• Develop scalable growth scenarios covering engineer volumes, install demand, SKU requirements, stock coverage, replenishment, and transport.
• Assess current and future 3PL and warehouse capability, identifying capacity, layout, labour, process, technology needs.
• Lead Supply Chain readiness with CHH and other logistics partners, ensuring tested mobilisation.
• Define stock-build and inventory-readiness plan for each mobilisation phase.
• Coordinate engineer onboarding for new zones, ensuring stock profiles and replenishment are ready before go-live.
• Lead the development of scalable system and data flows.
• Work with IT, Operations and partners to define system integrations and data controls.
• Design and document the future-state Supply Chain operating model.
• Identify mobilisation risks and maintain an action register.
• Establish mobilisation readiness reviews and go/no-go criteria.
• Understand mobilisation cost-to-serve and financial impact of scale options.
• Coordinate with Procurement to validate lead times and contingency plans.
• Provide clear mobilisation reporting on progress, risks, decisions and milestones.
• Coordinate cross-functional activity to ensure joined-up delivery.
• Lead mobilisation hyper-care post-launch.
