About Us

Newly Weds® Foods is a leading, privately owned global food ingredients business and has been innovating since 1932. The European division is a market leader in the manufacture of coatings, seasonings and functional ingredient systems.

Today, Newly Weds® Foods is a world leader in food ingredient technology. A network of R&D, manufacturing and service facilities around the globe allows us to serve our customers’ needs in more than 68 countries. But despite our size and scope, we’ve continued to be an independent, family-owned business answerable only to the demands of our customers. That’s why we continue to invest in infrastructure, human resources and capacity to keep pace with our customers’ needs and expectations.

The Role

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the UK Coatings & Seasonings Supply Chain team (Ossett, Banbury & Corby) ensuring customer service, production planning, inventory control, procurement support and logistics activities are delivered effectively, accurately and on time. • Drive discipline around data accuracy, system usage, order management, planning parameters, stock movements and supply chain reporting.
  • Support effective inventory control, balancing service, cost, working capital and storage constraints.
Communication, Meetings & Reporting
  • Chair and contribute to regular supply chain, planning, service, stock and operational review meetings.
  • Prepare, review and communicate clear performance updates covering OTIF, stock accuracy, planning adherence, shortages, customer service and logistics performance.
  • Ensure issues are escalated early with clear facts, risks, options and recommended actions.
  • Promote consistent communication standards within the team, reducing ambiguity and ensuring stakeholders receive timely, accurate updates.

  • Set clear expectations for team performance, behaviours, communication, ownership and follow-through.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, development, performance reviews and succession planning within the Supply Chain team.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, improve ways of working, reduce manual activity and strengthen control of daily routines.
