Job summary

Tata Technologies Ltd. is seeking a Supply Chain Lead to be based at the customer’s site in Halewood.

The role covers end-to-end planning, supplier logistics, and materials flow to ensure on-time, cost-effective delivery for manufacturing plants. Responsibilities include developing supply strategies, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and implementing packaging, freight, and inventory strategies to support programme launches and ramp-ups.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics or Manufacturing Operations.
• Experience within Automotive OEM or Tier 1 environments.
• Strong understanding of Supply Chain Planning, Supplier Management, Packaging & Logistics, Freight & Transportation, APQP/PPAP and Inventory Management.
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, OMP).

Responsibilities

• Develop supply strategies for new and existing programmes.
• Align demand, supply, inventory and production requirements.
• Monitor material availability and mitigate shortages.
• Manage supplier performance, readiness and delivery capability.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to support programme launches and production requirements.
• Define packaging strategies and ensure cost targets are met.
• Manage inbound transportation networks and logistics providers.
• Monitor freight performance, delivery reliability and costs.
• Support import/export compliance and international logistics activities.
• Support supply chain readiness across prototype, pre-production and SOP phases.
