Job summary

Safran Landing Systems is seeking a proactive Supplier Account Coordinator – Direct Purchasing to join the Gloucester procurement team. You will manage end-to-end procurement for assigned commodities, source and evaluate suppliers, negotiate pricing, raise purchase orders, and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
• Excellent negotiation skills and ability to communicate at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement for assigned commodities and suppliers.
• Source, evaluate and select suppliers based on quality, cost, delivery and service.
• Negotiate pricing and terms to achieve cost savings and value for the business.
• Raise and manage purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance teams.
• Resolve supply chain issues and expediting deliveries to minimise disruption.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and strategic procurement projects.
