Job summary

Owen Daniels is seeking a Supply Chain Coordinator for our Derby site. The role is a 12-month FTC with core duties in procurement activities, supplier relationship management, and ensuring timely delivery of materials.

You will work across Quality, Manufacturing and Customer Service to resolve supply issues and improve performance, while developing and improving MRP, stock control and forecasting processes.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supply chain-related role or administrative position.
• Experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience working with MRP systems and/or Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with procurement activities, ensuring materials and components are ordered and delivered on time.
• Monitor supplier orders and delivery performance, taking action to expedite materials where required.
• Work closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Customer Service and other internal teams to resolve supply issues and improve performance.
• Support the development and improvement of MRP, procurement processes, stock control and supply forecasting.
• Build effective supplier relationships.
