Hisense UK is seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedSupply Chain Coordinator to manage end-to-end supply chain processesfor our brown goods portfolio (including LED TV, Laser TV, Soundbar).This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient inventory management, orderprocessing, demand forecasting, and international logistics to supporttimely product delivery to market.
You will collaborate closelywith teams across the UK, Europe, and China, using EPOS (ElectronicPoint of Sale) data and other insights to forecast demand and alignprocurement with supply planning. The ideal candidate need to thrivein a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and brings stronganalytical and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Management: Monitor and managestock levels across multiple warehouses, balancing productavailability with cost-efficiency by minimizing excess stock andcarrying costs.
- Order Processing : Oversee thefull order cycle, including preparation, tracking, and fulfillment ofpurchase and sales orders. Coordinate with internal sales,procurement, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate and timely orderexecution.
- Cross-Regional Coordination: Workclosely with stakeholders in the UK, Europe, and China to supportsmooth international logistics. Schedule and track shipments,proactively resolving delays or disruptions through effectivecommunication.
- Demand Forecasting: Analyze EPOSdata and market trends to generate accurate sales forecasts. Supportthe demand planning team by converting projections into actionableprocurement and production plans.
- Procurement & SupplyAlignment: Partner with procurement and production teams toensure timely sourcing of components and finished goods based onforecasted demand and project schedules.
- Analytics &Reporting: Monitor supply chain KPIs such as inventory turnover,order fulfillment rates, and aging stock. Prepare regular reports anduse data to highlight inefficiencies and support strategic decisions.
- Issue Resolution: Address supply chain disruptionsswiftly, such as shipment delays, production issues, or qualityconcerns. Coordinate cross-functionally to implement contingency plansand minimize operational impact.
- Compliance & Quality:Ensure compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., RoHS, WEEE)and company quality standards. Monitor processes to ensure allproducts meet regulatory and internal specifications.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamlineprocesses and implement best practices. Contribute to initiatives thatimprove efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance supply chainperformance.
- Ad Hoc Support: Provide support forprojects such as new product launches, system implementations, andprocess improvements. Flexibly respond to evolving business needs andtake on special assignments when required.
Requirements
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (bothwritten and spoken) is required.
- Previous experience insupply chain coordination, logistics, or inventory planning ispreferred.
- Knowledge of international trade regulations,including import/export documentation, customs procedures, andcompliance requirements, is a strong advantage.
- Stronganalytical skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems (e.g., SAP,Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency (pivottables, formulas, VLOOKUP, etc.).
- Excellent organizational,time management, and communication skills with the ability to managemultiple priorities and coordinate across cross-functional teams.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, adapt to changingbusiness needs, and maintain a proactive, problem-solving mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, BusinessAdministration, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
