About Our Client

Our client is a prominent large organisation in the industrial and manufacturing sector. They have a global footprint with a significant presence in Sheffield and are recognised for their commitment to quality and innovation.

Job Description

  1. Collaborate with the Logistics manager to ensure the efficient transportation of goods.
  2. Process orders, verify accuracy and ensure timely processing.
  3. Monitor stock levels, track inventory and manage replenishment.
  4. Ensure adherence to company policies, industry regulations and legal requirements.
  5. Manage and update MRP/SAP systems with accurate inventory and procurement information.
  6. Maintain effective communications with suppliers and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.
  7. Ensure data integrity within the supply chain systems, including data entry, validation and reporting.
  8. Provide cover for multiple products categories within the Procurement and Supply Chain team.
  9. Play an active role within the Procurement and Supply Chain Team to help achieve and improve departmental KPI's.

The Successful Applicant

  1. Strong knowledge of MRP/ERP systems, with experience in SAP being highly desirable.
  2. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  3. Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  4. Ability to analyse and interpret data.
  5. Previous experience in a supply chain and/or logistics-related role is advantageous.
  6. Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise.
  7. Possess a methodical logical approach with the ability to work under pressure, meeting tight deadlines and pay great attention to detail.
  8. Highly numerically focused, with strong administration and organisational skills.

  • A competitive salary range between £27,000 and £29,000.
  • 20 days holiday per annum (pro-rata) running Jan-Dec, plus 3 days over the Christmas period and all statutory days.
  • 1 additional day holiday for each full year of employment up to a maximum of 5 days.
  • 50 minutes daily paid breaks (pro-rata).
