Service Supervisor - Perrys MG Huddersfield

Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:30pm (Saturday mornings rota 1 in 3)

Role Responsibilities:

• Ensure excellent customer experience by organizing and preparing the team for customer appointments
• Act as a point of escalation for customer issues
• Drive retail service performance
• Lead a team of Aftersales Advisors, providing training, coaching, and development opportunities
• Conduct regular 1-2-1 meetings with team members, providing effective feedback
• Support the Service Centre in the absence of the Service Manager
• Check job cards regularly for accuracy and completeness
• Support cost reduction initiatives and manage loan vehicles
• Maintain accurate customer contact records and manage outstanding issues
• Ensure accurate job card entries with detailed diagnoses and work descriptions
• Provide proactive and accurate updates to customers

Candidate Requirements:

• Previous motor trade experience, ideally as a Service Advisor or Supervisor
• Steady work history
• At least 2 years’ experience in the motor trade
• Experience with dealership systems like Pinnacle or Kerridge is preferred
• Confident, friendly, professional, with strong customer service skills
