Job Description:

As the Supply Chain Coordinator, you will oversee purchasing activities, manage and monitor inventory, coordinate receipt of goods, and support general operations. You will manage key vendors, collaborate with the Commercial and Warehouse teams to improve efficiency, and possess strong communication skills with the ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities include:

• Creating purchase orders based on current and forecasted demand, and following up with vendors to confirm details such as price, unit measure, color, description, size, and delivery date.
• Coordinating with vendors regarding delivery issues, managing back orders, and updating operations on delivery schedules.
• Collaborating with the warehouse team to ensure effective purchasing, maintaining the supplier database in SAP, and developing positive relationships with key suppliers.

Qualifications and skills needed:

• Motivated with a positive attitude, capable of handling demanding situations within the supply chain team.
• Excellent face-to-face and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in a busy environment.
• Leadership qualities to possibly deputize for the supply chain manager.
• Experience with SAP systems and Outlook.
