Job description

Job Title: Supply Chain Assistant (Fixed Term Temporary - April 2026)

Working at Scunthorpe General Hospital, you will be responsible for:

1. Receiving deliveries, receipting goods onto the e-procurement system, stocking clinical and non-clinical areas, and maintaining stock rotation.
2. Providing stores and customer care duties, ensuring goods are received and delivered according to policies and procedures, and assisting in maintaining local stores within the Receipt and Distribution Centre.
3. Supporting the Materials Management team with stock control processes, including unpacking, putting away items, and verifying delivery quantities from NHS Supply Chain.

This role involves working within clearly defined procedures, using your initiative on routine matters, and consulting the site lead when necessary.
