Cummins Inc. in Daventry, UK is seeking a motivated Supply Chain Logistics Placement Student for a 12-month placement starting Summer 2027. You will develop analytics to reveal operation performance, interpret KPIs, and support reporting across logistics for our Corporate/CBS segment.

The role offers hands-on experience in a global organization, exposure to business systems, and opportunities to learn procurement, pricing, and shipment management in a team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Studying towards a related degree (Business/ Economics/ Finance/ Supply Chain/ Humanities).
• Strong IT skills with Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is a plus.
• Ability to interpret data, solve problems and communicate clearly.
• Team player with ability to manage workload effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop Supply Chain analytics to reveal operation performance and trends.
• Analyze KPIs to identify improvements and action plans.
• Use business systems to provide repeatable analytics and reporting.
• Support financial reporting and tracking of spend and project savings.
• Measure carrier performance using KPIs and scorecards.
• Assist in operational shipment management through pricing and bookings.
