Job summary

Wight Healthcare in Newport is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Orthotic and Prosthetic Service. The role supports procurement and stock management, ensuring clinicians and technicians have timely access to equipment, components and consumables needed to deliver high-quality patient care.

You will work closely with clinical and technical teams, raise purchase orders, monitor inventory, process deliveries and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, procurement, stock control or logistics is desirable.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Supply Chain Administrator to join our Orthotic and Prosthetic Service. This role is essential in ensuring clinicians and technicians have timely access to the equipment, components and consumables needed to deliver high-quality patient care. This role is for 22.5 hrs.

You will support procurement and stock management processes, including raising purchase orders, monitoring inventory levels, processing deliveries, maintaining accurate records and liaising with suppliers. Working closely with clinical and technical teams, you will help ensure supplies are available when needed and that the stores environment remains safe, organised and compliant.

We are looking for a highly organised individual with strong administrative, IT and communication skills. Experience in administration, procurement, stock control or logistics is desirable.
