World Fuel Services Europe, Ltd. is seeking a Supply Analyst, Aviation Fuel (Europe) to oversee fuel inventories, scheduling, and transactional processing across the European region.

The role focuses on reliable, cost-efficient supply and daily hedging activities within a collaborative EMEA team. You will analyse market trends, liaise with suppliers and logistics partners, and drive improvements in service levels, efficiency, and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Actively manage and schedule fuel inventories to maintain optimal stock balances.
  • Schedule and monitor pipeline and truck deliveries into inventory locations.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry, verification, and processing of bulk transactions.
  • Analyse supply and demand trends across assigned inventory locations.
  • Create weekly haulage nominations and coordinate with providers.
  • Develop KPIs and seek continuous improvements in supply chain performance.

Job description

The Supply Analyst, Aviation Fuel (Europe) is responsible for bulk fuel supply operations, logistics, scheduling, and fuel-related services across the European region. The role focuses on ensuring a reliable and cost-effective fuel supply to WFS customers while optimizing supply chain efficiency and managing daily physical position hedging activities.Although assigned to a specific region, the EMEA Supply team operates collaboratively, and cross-regional support is an integral part of the role., Inventory Management & Scheduling

Inventory Management & Scheduling
  • Actively manage and schedule fuel inventories to maintain optimal stock balances.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient scheduling of fuel deliveries into inventory locations.
  • Liaise with Into-Plane (ITP) agents, suppliers, and service providers to support inventory requirements.
Pipeline Scheduling & Truck Dispatch
  • Schedule and monitor pipeline and truck deliveries into inventory locations.
  • Assess and develop the most effective supply mix based on current and potential supply options.
Transaction Processing & Administration
  • Ensure timely and accurate entry, verification, and processing of bulk transactions.
  • Manage associated payments and receivables.
Supply & Market Analysis
  • Analyse supply and demand trends across assigned inventory locations.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance supply chain value and optimise supply arrangements.
  • Develop an understanding of fuel supply, logistics options, and associated pricing structures, including, pipeline transportation, road haulage (truck deliveries) and storage solutions
Haulage & Logistics Coordination
  • Create weekly CXL (internal accounts system) haulage nominations for both Self-Supply and General Aviation (GA) locations.
  • Coordinate daily with haulage providers and operational sites regarding missed deliveries or delivery issues.
  • Work closely with site operators to resolve operational challenges.
Performance & Continuous Improvement
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and logistics partners.
  • Drive continuous improvements in supply chain performance and efficiency.
  • Develop and analyse quarterly KPIs for haulage contracts to ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
  • Support operational efficiency initiatives to maximise profitability within the allocated region.
  • Share best practices and improvement opportunities across the wider EMEA Supply team.
Essential Skills
