Job summary

eTeach UK Limited in Stroud is seeking a caring Supply Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 child with significant additional needs in a welcoming primary school. You will help the child access learning, stay safe and settled, and engage with activities throughout the day.

The role includes personal care and toileting support to maintain dignity, within a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Patient, nurturing and compassionate; confident supporting children with significant additional needs.
• Reliable, flexible and able to build a positive, trusting relationship with a child.
• Comfortable assisting with toileting and personal care as required.

Location: Stroud | Immediate start – Monday We are looking for a caring, patient and dedicated Supply Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for a Key Stage 1 child with significant additional needs at a welcoming primary school in the Stroud area.The school prides itself on creating a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment where every child is valued, relationships are at the heart of learning, and pupils are supported to overcome challenges and reach their potential. Set within the beautiful Stroud Valleys, the school offers a strong sense of community and a commitment to helping every child flourish.The role will involve providing personalised support throughout the school day, helping the child access learning, feel safe and settled, and engage positively with their surroundings. The child also has toileting needs, so applicants must feel comfortable providing personal care and supporting the child's dignity and wellbeing.

Hours: Mornings or full days available for the right person.Start date: This coming Monday.
