General Dynamics Mission Systems in the United Kingdom is hiring a Supplier Quality Engineer to work with Procurement and Supply Chain teams to ensure supplier quality and compliance. The role involves audits, root-cause analysis, and driving continuous improvement across the supply base.

You will support supplier development, performance reviews, and remediation actions, while liaising with internal stakeholders. The role is hybrid with occasional travel across the UK and Europe.

Competenze

• Experience conducting supplier or quality audits per ISO 9001.
• Familiar with APQP, FMEA/PFMEA, PPAP, SPC and MSA.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and technical specs.
• Strong leadership, problem solving and continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent communication with internal and external stakeholders.
• Good organisational skills with multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial awareness and customer-focused approach when dealing with suppliers.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Monitor, measure and improve supplier quality performance.
• Investigate supplier non-conformances and drive corrective actions.
• Conduct supplier audits and assessments, on-site and remote.
