Job summary

Zest is seeking an experienced Supplier Quality Manager to own supplier technical compliance, risk management, and retailer relationships across the UK. You will work closely with suppliers, commercial teams, and retailers to uphold the highest quality standards.

This role requires conducting technical audits, coordinating corrective actions, and supporting retailer approvals while travelling within the UK and across Europe.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an auditor with factory/production site knowledge.
• Willingness to travel regularly within the UK and across Europe.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels.
• Highly organized with attention to detail and strict procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert advice to Commercial teams on supplier technical capability.
• Conduct full technical audits and close out corrective actions.
• Carry out supplier risk assessments for annual review.
• Support suppliers in gaining retailer approvals.
• Prepare supplier sites for retailer audits and pre-production visits.
• Manage ethical trade compliance and maintain ethics audits.
• Provide technical and audit support across supplier sites and ensure standards.
• Stay current with retailer technical standards and guide suppliers and colleagues.
• Manage the internal audit programme and related documentation.
• Support product specification generation via retailer systems.
• Deliver internal training as required.
• Maintain strong communication with customer technical contacts.
