Job summary

SeeMe Hired Ltd is seeking a QHSE Supplier Auditor to ensure suppliers meet ISO QMS and environmental requirements. You will lead audits, drive continual improvement, and manage supplier performance, risks, and corrective actions across multiple sites.

You will hold a technical Engineering qualification with NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent), and be able to influence at all levels while ensuring regulatory compliance and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in QMS auditing and supplier quality management.
• Knowledge of ISO Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and procedures.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) required; Lead/Internal Auditor certification desirable.
• Multi-site role; valid driving licence essential.
• Ability to influence at all levels and communicate effectively; strong report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Qualify, evaluate and approve new suppliers.
• Conduct supplier capability assessments and risk evaluations.
• Monitor supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards.
• Lead supplier corrective action activities and closure of non-conformances.
• Manage Supplier Corrective Action Requests (SCARs).
• Support supplier development and improvement initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supplier-related quality risks.
• Drive reduction of supplier defects, scrap, rework and customer complaints.
• Plan and conduct supplier audits (process, ISO 9001/ISO 14001/ISO 45001/Customer-specific requirements).
• Verify compliance with company procedures and industry standards.
• Track and ensure closure of audit findings.
• Review supplier risk assessments and safe working practices.
• Support incident investigations involving supplier activities.
• Collaborate with Procurement/Engineering/Manufacturing/Operations/Logistics/Customer Quality teams.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) and supplier readiness.

Job description

Reporting to the QHSE Lead, this role will be responsible for ensuring that suppliers consistently meet the organisation's Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental requirements. The role focuses on supplier development, supplier performance monitoring, risk management, auditing, problem-solving, and driving continual improvement throughout the supply chain., The position acts as the primary interface between the business and its suppliers regarding QHSE performance, supporting compliance with ISO standards, customer requirements, regulatory obligations, and business objectives. Other key duties include:

• Qualify, evaluate and approve new suppliers.


• Conduct supplier capability assessments and risk evaluations.


• Monitor supplier quality performance through KPIs and scorecards.


• Lead supplier corrective action activities and closure of non-conformances.

  This person should have a technical qualification in Engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience. Knowledge of ISO Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental management systems and procedures is essential along with the \"NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent)\". Lead/Internal Auditor certification is desirable. This is a multi-site role so a valid driving licence is essential.

You will need proven experience in a similar QHSE role involving QMS system auditing. You will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with strong technical report writing skills. Building strong working relationships and the ability to influence at all levels, are key requirements for this role as you will work across the organisation. The ability to prioritise and manage a varied workload is also required.
