Job summary

TVS Supply Chain Solutions Limited is seeking a Supplier Improvement Co-ordinator at our Chorley head office. You will manage inbound delivery scheduling, ensure supplier conformance, and drive ASN compliance to improve overall inbound performance.

You will lead supplier performance reviews, collaborate with Operations and SQA, and implement continuous improvement initiatives across packaging, labeling, and delivery documentation.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in supplier management, inbound logistics, warehousing, or supply chain operations.
• Strong understanding of supplier packaging, labelling, consignment presentation, and inbound compliance.
• Knowledge of ASN management, delivery documentation, goods receipt, and inventory control.
• Experience monitoring supplier performance using KPIs and metrics.
• Ability to identify and resolve supplier packaging, paperwork, and delivery issues.
• Strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills with corrective actions.
• Proven ability to challenge suppliers and ensure compliance with standards.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
• Highly organised with attention to detail re delivery docs and inventory records.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• Full driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor inbound delivery scheduling to ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Ensure consignment conformance and adherence to delivery and presentation standards.
• Implement and manage ASN processes for supplier compliance.
• Lead supplier performance meetings and drive inbound delivery improvements.
• Maintain records of supplier relationships, commitments, actions, and performance metrics.
• Collaborate with SQA for supplier audits and improvement workshops.
• Develop and implement supplier delivery schedules with Operations and Supply Chain teams.
• Monitor and report on inbound performance using agreed KPIs.
• Act as liaison between Supply Chain, Operations, and Supplier to resolve issues.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on supplier conformance and delivery efficiency.
• Support reviews and problem-solving discussions to address day-to-day challenges.
