Purpose of the role
Manage and monitor supplier risk and performance to meet Barclays standards through control execution, commercial management, relationship, and risk management.
Accountabilities
- Manage and execute supplier control processes, oversee supplier performance, and monitor KPIs.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to meet procurement needs, mitigate risks, and align supplier relationships with business strategy.
- Identify suitable suppliers through market research, capability analysis, and contract negotiation.
- Stay updated on industry trends related to supplier management by attending conferences and training.
- Monitor suppliers' control operations to meet standards and contractual obligations.
- Support regulatory requests and examinations in collaboration with regulatory teams.
