Job summary

Asda is recruiting a DRS Project Coordinator to shape and deliver the Deposit Return Scheme strategy. You will lead commercial and product implementation across categories, ensuring compliance with legislation while safeguarding sales and enhancing the customer experience.

You will collaborate with Buying, Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing, Retail Operations and external suppliers to turn insights into practical plans for a successful DRS launch.

The Role

We're looking for a DRS Project Coordinator to help shape and deliver Asda's Deposit Return Scheme (DRS) strategy.

You’ll lead the commercial and product implementation of DRS across all in-scope categories, ensuring we meet legislative requirements while protecting sales, enhancing the customer experience and creating opportunities to drive footfall into stores.

Working with teams across Buying, Supply Chain, Technology, Marketing, Retail Operations and external suppliers, you’ll turn complex legislation, customer insights and market trends into practical plans that support a successful DRS launch.

Reporting to the Lead Trading Manager - Soft Drinks, you’ll work closely with the DRS Project Manager and senior stakeholders across the business.
