Job summary

Spark Education Trust is seeking a dedicated Supervisory Assistant at Chandlers Ridge Academy in Nunthorpe to support children during the school day. You will supervise pupils in the dining hall, encourage good table manners and help create a calm, respectful lunchtime environment.

You will also help to enable engaging, inclusive and safe play experiences, promoting active, happy children and positive behaviour across all age groups.

Job Title: Supervisory Assistant

Location: Chandlers Ridge Academy (Nunthorpe)

Start Date: As Soon As Possible

Actual Salary: £3,762 to £3,848 (Grade C, SCP 3)

Hours of Work: 6.67 hours per week, term time only (11.50am to 1.10pm (1 hour 20 mins) per day Monday to Friday)

Contract Type: Permanent

Closing Date: 8.00am, Monday 28th September 2026

About the Role

The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about ensuring children are happy, active and supported, encouraging positive behaviour and fostering social interaction across all age groups.
