Job summary

The Governors of Shincliffe C of E Primary School wish to appoint a committed, hardworking Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our midday team and contribute positively to the welfare and play of the children in our school.

The successful candidate will be caring, reliable and able to work as part of a team; supervise meals, encourage proper use of cutlery, and set up/play playground games while supporting children with additional learning needs or disabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience helping young children with learning needs or disabilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English when speaking with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supervise midday meals and assist children with eating and using cutlery.
• Organise and supervise playground games to ensure safe play.
• Work as part of a lunch-time team to support children's welfare.
• Support children with additional learning needs or disabilities as required.

We are seeking a mid-day supervisor to join our lunch time team and contribute positively to the welfare and play of the children in our school. The successful candidate will:

• Be caring, hardworking and reliable
• Have the ability to work as part of a team
• Can supervise meals and encourage children to use cutlery properly
• Can set up and supervise playground games with children
• Have experience of helping young children with additional learning needs and/or disabilities
