Job summary

Wiltons on Jermyn Street in London is seeking an experienced full-time Supervisor to join our Front of House team under House Manager Michael Stokes. You will oversee service for 80–120 covers, maintain British dining standards, and help develop a high-performing team.

Typical hours are 40 per week, Monday to Saturday, plus a £22.71 per hour rate and a yearly bonus potential. Benefits include 28 days holiday, meals on duty, staff parties, and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Previous Head Waiter or Supervisor experience in a fast-paced 80–120 cover setting.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced full-time Supervisor to join House Manager Michael Stokes and our Front of House team at Wiltons on Jermyn Street, Green Park.

What can you bring to the team?

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter or Supervisor in a similar, fast-paced establishment, catering for 80 to 120 covers during each service
• Excellent knowledge of British cuisine
• Good knowledge of the different grape varieties and wine styles, spirits and classic cocktails
• Being able to recommend dishes based on the information provided by the guest
• Excellent training, coaching and delegation skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Excellent sales & customer service skills
• Have experience and a good awareness of opportunities to improve sales
• High level of awareness and ability to anticipate guest needs
• Motivation, commitment, success orientated with a ‘can do’ attitude
• Knowledge and diversity from previous roles to the team
• Enthusiasm, drive & desire to learn
• Able to serve and clear a table up to 4 people
• WSET certification or equivalent would be beneficial
• Adhere to the restaurant Health & Safety policy, responsibilities & obligations
• Knowledge of the reservation system Sevenrooms and Point of Sale software TISSL/Horizon would be beneficial
