NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde is seeking a Health Records Service Coordinator to oversee operations at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. The post involves coordinating an efficient Health Records Service for patients, GPs, and hospital staff, ensuring workload prioritization daily. Responsibilities include supervising Health Records staff, managing workloads, approving leave, organizing cover, maintaining workflow, and meeting targets and deadlines. The role may involve handling difficult situations with patients or relatives, with escalation to senior staff when necessary.
This is a GGC-wide position, initially based at Glasgow Royal Infirmary, with potential relocation to other sites.
