All Saints CE Primary School & Nursery in Nuneaton is seeking a Midday Supervisory/Dining Room Assistant to join the team from November 2026. The role is part-time, term-time, with hours from 11:30am to 1:15pm.

We value good communication and teamwork; training and support will be provided. The post is permanent with Scale B salary and benefits including access to a pension scheme and staff wellbeing program.

Qualifications

• Midday supervisor/dining room assistant with good communication skills.
• Previous experience in the role is desirable but not essential; training and support will be given.
• First Aid Training would be an advantage but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pupils during their midday break.
• Set out and clear away tables and benches and sweep the floor.
• Initiate activities for the children during lunch period.
• Work as part of a team under the direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor.

Salary Band B - Term Time Only position
8.75 hours weekly - Actual Salary c£5064.

We wish to appoint a midday supervisor/dining room assistant with good communication skills, to support our current team of staff. Previous experience in the role is desirable but not essential, as training and support will be given.

Under the direction of the Senior Midday Supervisor the duties will include, in general, to be responsible for the supervision of pupils during their midday break, including putting out and clearing away tables and benches, sweeping the floor, initiating activities for the children. First Aid Training would be an advantage but training can be provided. Full information is available on the Job Description.

This is a friendly school and we are looking for someone that is approachable, has good communication skills, and enjoys working as part of a team.

Hours of work are from 11:30am to 1:15pm. Additional hours may be required to attend training/meetings etc for which additional payment may be claimed.
