Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Supervisor to join our pub team. You’ll lead a busy crew, deliver memorable guest experiences, and work closely with the management team to keep the pub running smoothly during shifts.

The role offers opportunities for development through our career pathways and a supportive, people-first culture. We welcome applicants who can open/close, stock, and handle cash with integrity, and who can coach others to deliver excellent service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a supervisor or team leader role
• Ability to lead and motivate others
• Experience opening and closing, stocking and cashing up
• Strong customer service orientation
• Ability to think on your feet and use initiative
• Responsible for smooth running of shifts when management away

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the pub team to deliver a great guest experience
• Work with the wider pub management team to run the business efficiently and profitably
• Open and close duties, stock checks and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service and team behavior
• Oversee shifts and manage all aspects of the pub when senior staff are absent

As Supervisor you’ll:

Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
