Job summary

JobsTrackR in Uttoxeter is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead a small team on a day-to-day basis. You will delegate tasks, coordinate with head office, plan equipment for delivery and manage operational requirements in a fast-paced environment.

The role runs Monday to Friday, 08:00–16:30, with a Temp-to-Perm progression path. You will contribute to continuous improvements, uphold health and safety standards, and support loading/dispatch activities.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising or leading a team in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to plan and coordinate equipment for delivery and meet operational requirements.
• Track assets and ensure accurate movement and storage.

Responsibilities

• Supervising the team on a day-to-day basis to delegate tasks and solve operational and quality issues.
• Planning the collation of equipment for delivery well in advance and working closely with the project management team in head office to meet operational requirements.
• Highlighting and implementing areas of continuous improvement to improve operational efficiency.
• Following and promoting health and safety procedures to ensure the welfare of yourself and those around you.
• Scanning assets onto internal systems and monitoring all movement of equipment.
• Assisting with unloading vehicles and returning equipment to cold room bay.
• Cleaning cold room panels and non-unique assets such as cold room racks.
• Ensuring all collections are checked for completeness (e.g., dirty or missing panels).
• Confirming all cold-room motors are tested before dispatch.
• Assisting with Loading vehicles and dispatching theassets
• Ensure equipment is provided in good time for dispatch
• Ensure the safe and effective use of warehouse storage space.
• Ensure the use of storage space and racking is to be maximised.
• Supporting wider warehouse team when required

Key duties:

Skills & Experience:

Pay: £14.74 per hours

• Demonstratable experience of supervising or motivating team members towards common goal
• Proven experience of assisting with or leading the implementation of organisational efficiencies and operations
