Job description

We’re looking for a personable, professional, and hands‑on Supervisorto join our leadership team at The Bull Hotel.

Our hotel has been newly refurbished, blending historic charm and character with modern comfort. We’re proud to be known for our personality, quality, and attention to detail, with five distinctive event spaces, a destination restaurant, and a cocktail bar that’s loved by both guests and locals.

This is a key role for someone who leads from the front, has a sharp eye for standards, and genuinely enjoys going the extra mile — for guests and for their team.

The role
  • Oversee and run the restaurant service.
  • Lead, manage, and motivate the team.
  • Coaching, training, and helping the team grow and develop.
  • Set, maintain, and demonstrate high service standards.
  • Ensure strong product knowledge across food, drinks, and cocktails.
  • Support hotel operations including guest check‑ins.
  • Handle cash and manage cash responsibilities.
About you
  • Personable, professional, and confident with guests and colleagues.
  • A natural leader who enjoys developing people and building strong teams.
  • Detail‑focused, with high standards and pride in delivering quality.
  • Comfortable taking ownership and leading by example.
  • Previous experience in hospitality management is essential.
  • Work in a beautifully refurbished, character‑ful historic hotel.
  • Be part of a venue known for its personality, quality, and ambition.
  • A varied, hands‑on role with real influence over standards and service.
  • Opportunity to grow with the business and shape the team.
What we can offer you:
  • An exciting variety of career paths: Explore a wide range of roles and career paths across our pubs and hotels.
  • Supportive environment: We put people first and strive for a collaborative and trusting atmosphere where everyone is valued.
  • Continuous growth: Engage in learning and development programs to fuel your personal and professional growth.
  • 25% discount on food and drink, across all our pubs and hotels for you and your friends and family. Increasing to 30% after one year, 35% after three years and 40% after five years.
  • A fair share of tips, paid on top of your hourly pay and paid on a weekly basis.
  • Discounted hotel stays at hotels in the Fuller’s Family.
  • Access to ‘My Fuller’s’ – our online benefits platform where you can make savings at 100s of retailers and access discounted gym memberships, cinema tickets, and much more.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan – after one year with us you will have access to a 24‑hour GP service and the ability to claim your money back for dentist and eyecare appointments.
  • Full induction and training.
  • The option to receive up to 35% of your earnings as you earn them with Wagestream. This means you won’t always need to wait until payday.
