La Compagnie Neal's Yard is a hidden gem located in Neal’s Yard, in the heart of Covent Garden. Spread across two floors plus a terrace, La Compagnie offers a selection of some of the world's best wines, focusing on smaller producers and rare bottles.

Reports to:
General Manager

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with the General Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure smooth service.
• Be present during service to oversee operations.
• Maintain service standards in line with Experimental’s standards and venue identity.
• Greet and interact with guests, creating a welcoming environment.
• Assess guest needs and provide menu recommendations.
• Present and explain the menu to guests.
• Take and serve food and drink orders.
• Handle billing and payments.
• Supervise the setup of the bar and floor areas, ensuring good presentation.
• Keep the wine bar fully stocked with wine, glassware, tools, etc.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the bar area and equipment.
• Train and supervise front-of-house staff in collaboration with the General Manager, encouraging upselling.
• Follow all food and beverage safety and quality regulations.
• Open and close the establishment.
• Act as the point of contact when the General Manager or Assistant General Manager is absent.
• Assist with managing general emails for La Compagnie.
• Manage inventory orders.
• Coordinate and oversee various events.
