Job summary

Ringway is recruiting a Supervisor to support a programme of highway improvement, maintenance and infrastructure projects across Surrey. You will oversee on-site operations, coordinate teams and subcontractors, and ensure work is carried out to the highest safety and quality standards.

You will track progress against the programme, liaise with project managers and clients, and promote a positive safety culture while maintaining accurate site records and documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within highways, civil engineering, utilities or infrastructure.
• Ability to manage multiple work activities and operational teams.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, work specifications and programmes.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

• Coordinate labour, plant, materials and subcontractors.
• Monitor programme performance and support milestone achievement.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards.

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients and stakeholders.
• Support traffic management and network coordination activities.
• Identify and resolve site issues to minimise disruption and maintain progress.

Job description

Due to continued growth and an increasing programme of capital investment, we are looking to recruit a Supervisor to support the successful delivery of a wide range of highway improvement, maintenance and infrastructure projects across Surrey.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading highways team delivering major schemes that help improve the safety, reliability and efficiency of the local road network. Projects will vary in size and complexity, providing exposure to a diverse portfolio of works and stakeholders.

As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of operational teams, subcontractors and supply chain partners, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.

Working across a variety of capital works and major project activities, you will play a key role in ensuring programmes are delivered on time, within budget and in line with contractual requirements.

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Full Time - 40 - Monday to Friday
