Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Supervisor to join our busy pub team. You’ll lead shifts, deliver great guest experiences and help the business run smoothly. We offer a reliable hours contract, flexible/part-time options, and plenty of training through our apprenticeship and career pathways.

Join a lively team and help create moments of joy for guests. As a Supervisor you’ll mentor colleagues, manage opening and closing duties, cashing up, and uphold standards of service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team.
• Strong customer service focus and problem solving.
• Comfort with opening/closing duties and cash handling.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate shifts to deliver great guest experiences.
• Work with pub management to run the business efficiently.
• Open and close the pub, stock the area, and cash up.
• Be a role model for customer service and initiative.
• Ensure smooth running of shifts when senior staff are away.

We’re on the lookout for a Supervisor to join our team!

As Supervisor you’ll:

Have a natural talent for leading and motivating others, you’ll share moments of joy with our team and guests. You and the pub team will pride yourselves on delivering an experience that gets our guests coming back for more.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountablefor the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
