Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking a dedicated Supervisor for its Medirest healthcare operations in the UK. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, based in a healthcare setting, with responsibilities including overseeing daily catering services, stock management, and compliance with hygiene and safety standards.

The ideal candidate will have prior supervision experience, excellent communication, and a can-do attitude to support a high standard of service within NHS Trusts and private hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly.
• Supervising a team and creating a positive, welcoming environment.
• Being a responsible key holder.
• Assisting with weekly bookwork and other duties as needed.
• Producing weekly rotas following manager guidelines.
• Placing orders for stock to maintain stock levels.
• Delegating tasks and ensuring team proactivity.
• Compliance with Food Handling & Hygiene standards.
• Compliance with Health & Safety regulations.

Your key responsibilities may include:

• Ensuring all deliveries are checked and stored promptly and correctly
• Supervising a team, creating a positive environment where the team feel welcomed and supported
