Job summary

Mears Group PLC in Belfast is seeking an experienced Supervisor to lead a responsive maintenance team and ensure high service standards across the contract.

You will oversee day-to-day operations, review jobs, perform site inspections, and manage approximately 10–12 operatives including multi-skilled trades to deliver quality work on time.

Annual salary: up to £47,543.27

Supervisor

Location: Belfast

Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent, 42.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pm

Salary: £44,746.61 per annum + company van and fuel card

Mears provides temporary accommodation to asylum seekers whilst their claim is being assessed in three regions: Northeast, Yorkshire and Humber, Northern Ireland, and Scotland. At the end of May 2021 Mears had over 19000 service users across the three regions. Mears work in partnership with central and local Government, registered providers, tenants, landlords and investors to find solutions to homelessness, provide more social and affordable housing and create specialist housing for people with care needs.

We are looking for an experienced Supervisor to join our team in Belfast, supporting the delivery of a responsive maintenance contract. This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with a trade background and supervisory experience to lead operational teams and help maintain high service standards.

In this role, you will oversee responsive maintenance activities, review ongoing jobs, carry out post and site inspections, raise recharges and supervise a team of operatives. You will play a key role in ensuring work is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required quality standards.

Role Responsibilities

• - As Supervisor, you will manage the day-to-day delivery of responsive maintenance operations and support a team of skilled operatives across the contract.


• - Looking after a responsive maintenance contract


• - Reviewing jobs and monitoring progress


• - Completing post inspections and site inspections


• - Raising recharges where required


• - Supervising a team of approximately 10-12 operatives, including multi-skilled operatives, electricians and heating engineers
