Job summary

The Akeman Inn, part of Acorn Pubs, is recruiting a hands-on Supervisor to join during a major refurbishment and relaunch. You will help shape service standards, lead shifts and ensure guests have an excellent experience.

Offering up to £15.50 per hour with TRONC. Benefits include meals on shift, staff discount, pension and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality supervision or team leadership.
• Previous hospitality roles such as waitress/waiter, bar staff, server or food and beverage supervisor.
• Natural ability to look after people and ensure guests have a great experience.

Job Description

As part of a major investment programme across the Acorn Pubs estate, The Akeman Inn will soon close for a significant refurbishment before reopening with a fresh new look and renewed ambition. This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious and talented Supervisor to join the business ahead of its relaunch and play a key role in shaping its future success.

The Akeman Inn has long been a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. Following a substantial investment, the pub will reopen with an enhanced guest experience and an exciting opportunity to establish a food offering that reflects the quality and standards for which Acorn Pubs is known.

About you...

Youhave a natural ability to look after people and make them happy and like us,you’re passionate about food and drink. Previous experience in hospitality as a waitress/waiter, bar staff, server or food and beverage supervisor, ideally at team leader level would be helpful but isn’t essential.

More importantly, you’re hands on with a positive attitude. You’ll bring your work and life experience to help run busy shifts calmly ensuring you look after our customers in the best way possible.
