Job summary

Dynamite Recruitment is seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to cover Halifax/Bradford. The role involves servicing and maintaining a range of fire and security systems, including CCTV and access control, while upholding British Standards. You will be client-facing and contribute to the company’s strong reputation.

The ideal candidate has knowledge of FIA units 1+5, experience across fire, intruder, CCTV and access control, and a proactive, outgoing attitude to manage own workload.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the British Standards.
• FIA units 1 and 5 knowledge or training.
• Experience with fire systems, intruder, CCTV and access control.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on sites within your post coded area.
• Work with fire and security systems and emergency lights.
• Fault finding to achieve 1st fix where possible.
• Adhere to British Standards at all times.
• Be customer facing to maintain the client’s reputation.

Our client is a highly recognised, industry leading Fire and Security business and is growing rapidly. With a track record of providing fantastic opportunities to candidates they are now seeking a Fire and Security Engineer to join the team covering Halifax/Bradford

The Role:

• To carry out servicing, maintenance and small works on a range of sites within your post coded area
• To work with a varied amount of both fire and security systems and emergency lights
• Fault finding to conduct a 1st fix solution where possible
• To work to the British Standards at all times
• You will be customer facing to maintaining a good reputation on behalf of our client is a must.

The Candidate:

• Good knowledge of the British Standards
• Knowledge of FIA units 1 + 5
• Experience in both Fire Systems, Intruder, CCTV and Access Control
• Knowledge of GENT and/or Notifier (desirable but not essential as training can be given)
• You must have an outgoing and proactive personality to manage own work and exhibit the company's vision and values
