Job summary

Enterprise Mobility in Glasgow is offering a Summer Internship in retail operations. As an Intern you’ll interact with customers, deliver outstanding service, and develop sales skills in a fast-paced branch.

You’ll gain real-world experience from day one, take ownership of meaningful responsibilities, work with experienced colleagues, and build transferable skills that help you stand out when entering the job market. Start dates: 17 May, 1 June or 7 June 2027; end by 3 September 2027.

Qualifications

• Competencies will be assessed during recruitment.

This role is located in Glasgow.

Responsibilities

The focus of your internship will be delivering outstanding customer service and developing your sales skills while gaining exposure to the wider operation of a successful business. Key areas of focus:

• Customer Service & Relationship Building - Deliver exceptional customer experiences at every stage of the rental journey and build rapport with customers and confidently handle enquiries, reservations and concerns.
• Commercial Awareness – Understand customer needs and recommend products and services that provide the right solutions for the customer.
• Teamwork & Collaboration - Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver exceptional customer service, support branch objectives and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Communication - Support customers by clearly explaining rental agreements, vehicle features and additional products.

Qualifications

• We accept applications for our Management Placement/Internship Programme from all undergraduate university students regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.

Additional Information

• Start Date: Successful candidates must be available to commence on one of the following dates: 17th May, 1st June or 7th June 2027.
• Programme Commitment: Candidates must be available to remain on the internship programme until Friday 3rd September 2027 with the potential to extend based on university schedule and business need.
