Enterprise Mobility in Edinburgh is offering a Six Months Management Placement Programme for interns. Based in one of our retail branches, you’ll gain real responsibilities across customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations within a supportive environment.

Placements begin mid-January 2027 and run through September 3, 2027, with potential for extension. The role provides mentorship, promotional opportunities, and performance-based rewards.

• Applications open to all undergraduate students regardless of university attended or subjects studied.
• Must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence; accommodations available for non-drivers due to disability.
• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within last five years.

Responsabilidades

• Apply existing knowledge across real responsibilities and gain hands-on experience in customer service, sales, marketing, finance, and operations.
• Develop skills in customer service, reservations handling, and rapport building with diverse customers.
• Grow your network by connecting with local business partners and developing lasting relationships.
• Understand financial mechanics of a business, including cost control and interpreting profit and loss statements.
• Learn fleet management, strategic planning, and performance improvement.

Responsibilities

You’ll have the chance to apply what you already know, while building a powerful set of hard and soft skills that you might not have expected. You’ll develop skills in:

• Customer Service: deliver exceptional experiences by confidently handling reservations, resolving enquiries, and building rapport with a diverse range of customers.


• Sales and Marketing: connect with local business partners, grow your network and develop lasting relationships.


• Financial Control and Profitability: understand the financial mechanics of a successful business, including cost control and interpreting profit and loss statements.


• Operations and Logistics: learn how to manage a fleet, plan strategically, and drive performance.


• Leadership and Development: take the lead in mentoring, training, and developing your own team - with the opportunity to manage and promote others as you grow.

Qualifications

• We accept applications for our Management Placement and Internship Programme from all undergraduate university students regardless of university attended and subjects being studied. Our assessment is based on how you perform against our competencies and will judge you on that alone.


• You must have a full manual UK or EU driving licence, but we do make accommodations for applicants who don’t drive due to a disability.


• No drug or alcohol related offence on driving record within the last five years is permitted.
