Job summary

Arup is inviting a Mechanical/Building Services student to join its Edinburgh offices for a six-week Summer Internship. You will work within multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver building services that improve energy and water efficiency for global clients.

The role offers exposure to architects, engineers and project managers across commercial and institutional projects, with opportunities to learn 3D and thermal software in a professional environment.

Qualifications

• Final or penultimate year pursuing MEng/BEng in Mechanical or Building Services Engineering.
• Demonstrates motivation for building design and sustainability.
• Willing to learn 3D and thermal software and communicate ideas clearly.

Responsibilities

• Join a six-week Summer Internship, working in project teams to deliver services to clients.
• Collaborate with Architects, Building Services, Building Physics, Geotechnical Engineers, Surveyors and Project Managers on various stages of projects.
